We are excited to team up with England Golf to be involved with the BIGGEST girls' coaching programme in the country!

Girls Golf Rocks is back for 2022 and the sign-up process for budding golfers looking to make a start in the game is now live.

What is Girls Golf Rocks all about?

“Girls Golf Rocks encourages beginner girls aged 5-18 to learn and play golf in a fun and friendly way. The programme runs nationally across England and we have over 200 host clubs/facilities taking part. We aim to create an environment where girls feel comfortable and confident to join in the initial sessions and then offers a clear pathway for them to continue their participation.


The coaching course will involve six, hour-long sessions spread over six weeks with the last lesson being out on the course. The sessions are designed to be:

  • FUN!

  • Involve team/group pursuits

  • Include a variety of golf-related activities

  • Allow for social time either at the beginning

LEARN

the fundamentals of the game and

HAVE FUN

without too much emphasis on the coaching and competitive elements of the game.

CARRY ON

The taster sessions are a great way of trying golf before signing up to the six-week coaching course..

 

  •  Open to all girls aged 5-18 years

  • No experience necessary

  • No equipment required

  • No dress code, just wear comfy clothes and trainers

FAQ’S

 

  • You can wear what you like, as long as it’s comfy and keeps you warm or cool depending

    on the weather! Trainers are fine for footwear.

  • Remember to bring a bottle of squash or water, especially if the weather is hot, because

    you will be outside. Check the booking site to ensure your club has loan equipment

    available or, if you already have some clubs, then feel free to bring them along.

  • The taster session is free. The six-week coaching course costs £35. You will need to pay

    via the online booking process before the first session. Please note, no payments will be

    taken at the venue. Payments can be made online at: https://girlsgolfrocks.played.co/ .

    The online payment will secure your place on the programme on a first-come, first-served

    basis.

  • The taster session will run for one to two hours. This is a great chance to see if you enjoy

    golf before signing up to the six-week coaching course.

  • You don’t need to attend the taster session, but you do need to book online to secure your

    place for the coaching session.

  • The coaching course will last six weeks. Every week there will be a one-hour coaching

    session. The last session will be out on the course. The sessions will be:

    • FUN!

    • Focus on team/group-based activity

    • Include a variety of fun, golf challenges

    • Encourage social time for all participants

  • Please arrive 10 – 15 minutes before the stated time on the online booking.

  • Photographs may be taken for promotional purposes. When you place your order online,

    you will be asked to provide photographic consent as part of the Terms and Conditions.

  • We are offering lots of ways to encourage you to progress with your golf. Just speak to

    the Professional leading the programme to find out what’s on offer. There is no obligation

    to commit to these extras and there may be additional costs if you choose to participate

    in further programmes.
